Waves, Fog & Dolphins

Wind & waves as well as night sailing were the last few days' highlights. And of course the torpedoe-like dolphins that crossed our path. They checked out the boat a few times and off they were. The whale that we met in the same spot came up once, but close. We saw all the details on his head, the blowhole etc. Impressive.

Since we found unfavorable conditions for the crossing to Haida Gwaii we changed plans and went for a night sail: Impressions en route along the central coast & Hecate Strait. We found quiet and nice anchorages on Aristazabal Island, with no other boats around.
